Job Description:
ISEA is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications that support the customer’s mission. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment and integrate applications across complex environments.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack web applications while implementing modern software engineering best practices.
Utilize Java and Python to build scalable backend services and APIs.
Utilize Angular and TypeScript to develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications.
Develop and maintain cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
Manage source code using Git workflows, including branching, code reviews, and merge strategies.
Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and deployment issues across development, test, and production environments.
Collaborate with diverse teams of software engineers, DevOps engineers, system administrators, and mission stakeholders to deliver effective and reliable software solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure applications adhere to security, performance, and reliability requirements.
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Thorough experience developing applications with Java and/or Python.
Experience utilizing Angular and TypeScript to build modern web applications.
Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
Proficiency with relational database development.
Comprehensive understanding of Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or another relevant technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Experience collaborating on or contributing to UI/UX design, creating intuitive, user-centered interfaces that improve the overall user experience.
Experience designing distributed or microservices-based architectures.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Helm charts or Ansible.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum software development environments.
Citizenship/Clearance Requirements:
US Citizenship is required.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
