Consent

How your number reaches us

Numbers are collected during employment onboarding, on the onboarding paperwork. We do not buy, rent, or share number lists, and we never add a number that arrived any other way.

  1. You give ISEA a mobile number during employment onboarding. Providing one is optional, and no part of your employment depends on it.

  2. On the same paperwork you read and sign the consent statement below. Nothing is pre-checked and nothing is assumed from your having a number on file.

  3. ISEA records the consent together with the date it was given and how it was collected. A number with no consent record against it is not messaged.

  4. You can withdraw consent at any time, by replying STOP to any message or by telling People Operations. Withdrawing it stops the text messages and nothing else.

The wording

The statement employees sign

Reproduced exactly as it appears on the onboarding paperwork. Signing it is how consent is given; there is no other route today.

Consent to receive text messages

I consent to receive SMS text messages from ISEA Corp at the mobile number I have provided, relating to onboarding, compliance training deadlines, and time-sensitive workplace notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

Giving a mobile number is optional and no part of your employment depends on it. Employees who give no number, or who withdraw consent, continue to receive the same notifications by email and Microsoft Teams.

What a message looks like

ISEA Corp: Your onboarding checklist is ready. Details have been sent to the email address on file. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

ISEA Corp: Reminder — your Cyber Awareness training expires in 14 days. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Stopping the messages

Reply STOP to any message and we stop texting that number. Reply HELP and we reply with who we are and how to reach us. You can also ask People Operations directly.

Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of anything else. Every notification we send by SMS is also sent by email or Microsoft Teams, so stopping the texts never means missing a deadline.

How we handle your number is set out in our privacy policy. Questions go to info@isea-corp.com or (703) 350-2881.
